亀岡 聡

After studying graphic design and working as a graphic designer, my interest in both art and technology made me start creating computer graphics when I was a freelance designer. Then, that gave me a chance to work as a computer graphic artist for TV programs in Japan. In these twelve years, I found that I especially enjoyed creating Motion Graphics and CG sets. My interest in storytelling and sound and my experience in design and computer graphics brought me to the world of filmmaking. After I studied film producing in Japan and hands-on filmmaking in the US, I started work as a video director, production designer and a VFX artist as well as pursue creating my own films. My major interest is creating worlds/visual images that relate to the story and/or sound.
